Plant Description
Peppermint is a perennial plant and part of the mint family. It is a hybrid plant cultivated in England and a cross between water mint and spearmint. It is also found in the United States and other parts of Europe. Peppermint has reddish-violet flowers that bloom in July and August, grows to 2 - 3 feet tall, and does best in moist climates.
