Plant Description


Passionflower is a fast-growing, perennial, climbing vine with spectacular white flowers that have various colored crowns. It is native to North America, South America, Central America, and is prominent in the United States. It produces an edible orange berry fruit that is egg-shaped. Passionflower's name is derived from the structure of the flower and its religious symbolism of the crucifixion of Christ.
