Plant Description
Guarana is a perennial, climbing evergreen shrub native to South America, the Amazon Basin, and North Brazil. It is part of the maple family and can grow to 12 meters high. Guarana produces white clusters of flowers and bears an orangish-yellow to bright red fruit that contains one black seed covered by arils, giving it the appearance of an eyeball.
